A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to secure the booking, the balance of the payment must be made in full four weeks prior to the event. Prior to making the final payment please check any and all details, as once the final balance is paid a refund can not be issued. Save The date reserves the right to withhold goods unless full payment is received prior to the event. Payment of the deposit means that you accept our terms and conditions.    

Initial consultations are free of charge and are at no obligation to book. Further private consultations will be charged at a rate of £50 per visit and added to your invoice, consultations at open days or similar events are not chargeable.

Any damages and breakages will be invoiced to you after your event. All replacements are charged at three times the original hire cost.

Any reduction in the order must not fall below the original order by more than 20%. Cancellation of Save The Dates services must be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Any deposit paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation. Please see below for following timescales and refundable amounts if applicable:

9months or more before event date: Deposit retained, no further payment required.

6-8months before the event date: Deposit retained, and an admin fee of £150 required.

1-5 months before the event date: Deposit retained, 50% of final amount payable, £150 admin fee.

Less than 1 month- up to event date: Deposit retained, full amount payable.

Any monies paid to save the date is final. Once final balances have been paid, no refunds will be issued,  except upon circumstances where save the date are unable to deliver a promised item or service.

Save The date reserves the right to substitute appropriate products where any part of the order becomes unobtainable, items substituted are to be at Save The Dates reasonable discretion.

Save The Date accept no responsibility for any damage caused by flames or lit candles at an event once we have left the site. 

The hirer is solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period and is fully responsible for any injury or damage to either persons or property. Save The date cannot be held responsible for any injuries that occur during the duration of the hire period.

Chair covers and Table runners:

Colours may vary from that of the picture or item at point of booking due to replacement of items over time and the nature of the hand dyed fabric. Colours will be sourced as close as possible to the original item.

Chair covers are Lycra and fit most styles of banqueting chairs, Save The Date cannot be held responsible for ill-fitting chair covers if your chairs are a distinct shape.

Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that Save The Date service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver a product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather we will remain in contact with the event commissioner in the lead up to the event and we will discuss a contingency plan with the event commissioner. Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God, sudden ill health or adverse weather conditions and if we are prevented from providing a service or product as agreed, then we can only offer a refund of full monies paid.
